Wappen von Bracciano. Since 23rd April 2011 the town of Neusäss has enjoyed a twin-town relationship with the Italian town of Bracciano

Bracciano is in the region Latium, about 40 kilometers away from Rome and has a population of around 19,000 residents. Bracciano is similar to Neusäss in that it is also a location for education.

The eye-catcher and landmark of Bracciano is the medieval fortress which rises above the town and which provides the location for many marriage ceremonies.

Moreover, the town is also home to Lake Bracciano, the second largest lake in the region. Here visitors can enjoy a boat trip or go swimming or paddle surfing.

The people of Bracciano enjoy sporting interests in a number of different clubs. Cultural activities are also well represented. The town is known, for example for the Passion Plays Festival which attracts numerous visitors every year.
